Just 7 minutes from the motorway entrance you can easily reach any location.

Its location allows you to easily visit Umbria and Tuscany, to go in one day to Florence or Rome and to enjoy the numerous events that take place in the area throughout the year.

By Car

Heading south from Rome on the A1 motorway there are two options:

Orte Exit and take the E45 to Perugia. Continue, without exiting to Perugia, on the 4 lanes towards Firenze/Florence – Lake Trasimeno until the Magione Exit
Alternatively, continue on the A1 until reaching the Valdichiana-Bettolle Exit and then follow the 4 lanes towards Perugia until reaching the Magione Exit.

North direction from Bologna two options:

Take the A1 motorway towards Florence and continue towards Rome until reaching the Valdichiana-Bettolle exit and then follow the 4 lanes towards Perugia until reaching the Magione Exit.
Alternatively, proceed on the motorway in the direction of Ancona to the Cesena Nord Exit and here take the E 45 to Perugia. Continue, without exiting to Perugia, on the 4 lanes towards Firenze – Lake Trasimeno until the Magione Exit.

At the Magione exit turn right towards the town of Magione and after approximately 1km turn left at the roundabout towards Chiusi S. Arcangelo. After travelling about 1 km you will find a railway bridge. Go under it and just over 20 meters on the left turn following the sign for Montesperello. After about another 2 km, you will find, on the right, the first sign indicating Montesperello and a road that leads up to the old village and climbs up until reaching a square with a concrete platform and a number of historic buildings on the sides. Seeing ahead the old abandoned church, take the unpaved road on the left (at the start of which is the Cantico sign) that leads to the small cemetery of Montesperello. Before arriving at the cemetery (again following a sign for the Cantico) turn right onto a road that goes up into the woods. Continuing straight on for around1 km (with the help of 1 other sign) you will arrive at the Cantico della Natura.

Public Transports

Daily transport links the main Italian cities and airports with the Perugia bus station, from which a shuttle service to Magione departs.

Il Cantico della Natura is 4 km away from the Magione station and can be reached by taxi (reserving a taxi in advance via Perugia’s radio taxi).

By Plane

Daily train and bus services connect the Rome airports to Perugia.

Perugia Airport is located 30 km from Il Cantico della Natura and can be reached upon arrival with a 20-minute taxi ride, provided the taxi is booked in advance through Perugia Radio Taxi.
Low-cost daily flights (Ryanair) connect Perugia with various European destinations.

Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports are about 2 hours away from the city of Perugia by coach.

Private Plane

Those traveling with small private aircraft can reach the estate by landing at the nearby Montemelino Fly Felix airfield.
