SAN FRANCESCO “Our Inspirer”

The owner’s name is Francesco like Saint Francis of Assisi, and our name Cantico (Spiritual Song) is inspired by his Cantico of the Creatures, a praise to the elements of nature that interprets our sensitivity towards creation. His values of spirituality, respect for every living being, simplicity and authenticity are also ours. It is to this character that Umbria has given to history that we also inspire our holistic activities related to nature.

A special place

We are located in a very unique place. In the green heart of Italy, Umbria, a few steps from Tuscany and on the shores of Lake Trasimeno at the edge of the Natural Park that surrounds it, an area of great natural value. Our 26-hectare estate is a corner of unspoilt and lush nature that overlooks other estates, all open, offering hundreds of hectares of space, rich in animal life that is easy to meet.

The view enjoyed towards the lake with spectacular sunsets that color the water and air red (not coincidentally referred to by the elderly fishermen as “The most beautiful sunsets in the world”), the starry skies of an untouched clarity, the centuries-old olive grove, a true open-air museum of natural sculptures, the daily celebration of nature in all its forms are the beauty that has been given to us

We are sincere animal lovers. Your pets are more than welcome in the rooms and common areas. You won’t have to leave them at home or find a kennel, you can bring them with you and enjoy all our services with them. We accept all types of animals and of all sizes, as long as they are used to living in a hotel and managed with care and attention in respect of the structure and the other guests. They too will be able to enjoy a moment of relaxation and freedom.

Electric Charging Station

For those who travel by electric car

In harmony with our Green approach we have installed an electric charging station, as a concrete service tool for all guests who, like us, have decided to make a concrete contribution to the health of the planet by purchasing an electric car. Here at Cantico they will be able to recharge it without problems directly in our parking lot
